Mathew is the brawn and brainchild behind Summa Lux Electric Company. His vision is to provide exceptional service. In a time when many newly trained electricians lack this crucial skill, electrical troubleshooting is something Mathew finds clear solutions to.

A little about his background and experience:

Mathew has been a service electrician with the IBEW for over ten years providing dependable results and quality installations. He has been commended as being a team member of impeccable reliance while maintaining a resolute adherence to safety. His experience as a service electrician is reinforced with 5 years’ experience as a factory-trained Daktronics technician; providing a skill set of accurate troubleshooting, systems installation, and technical support. In addition, he provides excellent customer service and time management skills with an acute ability to be pragmatic at both working independently and managing small teams.

He also served as a Transportation Systems Technician for the Department of Transportation based in Wenatchee. He was the North Central Region’s lead Electrical and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technician. To elevate to this position required breadth of knowledge and experience covering; electrical theory, NEC, MUTCD, M54.44, WAC 296-46B, Network+, CCTV, VMS, and Traffic Signals. His primary responsibilities covered project inspections and managing our ITS infrastructure. This required both in the field maintenance and management of the back-end server software and databases that the region relied upon. Mathew worked closely with the region’s Radio Shop where he assisted in the installation of microwave radios and troubleshooting our ITS network for operational issues and failures. He also worked closely with the engineering teams in the Project and Traffic Office providing feedback on design work.
